Woolrich's red-and-black plaid hunting coat is one of the items most often associated with the 181-year-old company, which is headquartered in the small village of the same name in Clinton County, Pennsylvania. Woolrich is the oldest integrated woolen mill in the United States, handling manufacturing "from sheep to shirt." Though many modern Woolrich products are produced overseas, back in the '50 and '60s, when this awesome buffalo plaid shirt/jacket was made, everything was produced right here in the U.S. of A.
This classic red and black check stag jacket has a metal Talon zipper closure, four front pockets (two chest pockets, two angled single-welt pockets), cape-yoke styling, buttoned cuffs, and a "secret" hidden back pocket, traditionally used by hunters to hold their game. Made of 100 percent wool, it's partially lined and features an old-school tag featuring the famed Woolrich sheep.
