There are few things cuter than miniaturized versions of adult clothes. This kid-sized patchwork suede fringed jacket based on Schott NYC’s original Rancher style is no exception.

Other than two small tags which classify it as a children's size 8 and suggest cleaning by a leather specialist, this garments bears no label. It does, however, feature a plaid lining, four-color suede patchwork pattern, two patch pockets, and front & back yoke, all festooned with 3-inch leather fringe.

As for its age, our guestimation is that it hails from the 1960s. The kid who owned this jacket gave it lots of love, which shows up in wear on the front three metal snaps, the inside back of the collar, and on some barely visible spots on the arms and front right pocket. No matter: this is the kind of jacket that looks better the more you wear it.
