Custom inseams will require additional time to prepare and ship. Inseams longer than 32"
may not be available on every jean. Inseams requested below 30" are not returnable.

Our Imogene has a straight "stovepipe" leg and a higher rise providing a little extra height for those who need it, and even some for those who don't. Imogene has a hip to accommodate a woman's curves, and larger, wide-set pockets - offering one's bottom a pleasing shape that we like to call the "Summer of Love."
Imogene Rigid is made from quality 100% cotton denim and ships unwashed just like in the good ol' days. See important sizing info under the Take Note tab.
Carrie's grandmother Imogene had a great personal style, an easy mix of elegance and practicality. She was a factory worker by day and fashion plate by night. As a child, Carrie vividly remembers seeing her go from smart blouses with high, slim pants to a full-length mink coat, sometimes in the same day. So it's fitting that Imogene's namesake jean mixes 1940s tradition - the Golden Age of Denim in our book - with the more feminine styles of the '70s.
Sizing:
This garment is unwashed. Once washed, it will shrink approximately one full size. We recommend ordering your normal size and soaking the jean prior to wear. This is called shrink-to-fit. By soaking the jean in the bathtub rather than using a home machine, you will preserve the most indigo and best maintain the integrity of a rigid jean. Alternatively, you can purchase Imogene Rigid one size smaller than you normally wear, and wash at your own risk. If purchasing Imogene Rigid one size down, it is possible it will no longer fit properly after first wash. This depends on body type, frequency of wear, and amount of stretch. The advantage to beginning with a rigid garment, however, is that you increase the potential for the highest wear-pattern intensity.

Shipping:
Orders are shipped Monday through Friday. We’re a small company and we appreciate your patience as we carefully pack your orders. Please allow 2-4 days for your order to be shipped, and 5-7 days during holidays and promotions.
Returns and Exchanges:
We process our returns on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will gladly accept returns or exchanges for any full price online purchases within 14 days of delivery. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Please refer to our return/exchange policy for details.
