A thorn found on a Tennessee farm has been cast in brass, finished by hand and hung from a delicate 14k gold fill rosary style chain. A gold fill rectangular tag has been hand stamped with our signature plus logo and connected to a 14k gold fill lobster claw closure. Connecting links have been soldered with 10k gold for durability.

All metal and parts milled & sourced in the USA. Thorn hand-cast in small batches.

Thorns are cast by hand in small batches so each thorn will have natural imperfections, making every necklace slightly unique.

Care:

Each necklace comes with an individual polishing cloth to help maintain its luster.

Brass:

Brass thorn has been given a protective finish to prevent oxidation. Over time you may want to use a gentle brass/bronze cleanser or polish when it's time to bring it back to it's bright gold finish.

About Gold Fill:

Gold fill is made from solid gold which is 'filled' with other alloys. Unlike gold plate, It will not flake, and the surface will not turn your skin like brass can do. The finish and surface of gold fill has the same properties of solid gold because it is gold. Please care for your gold fill pieces just as you would a gold piece of jewelry. Gently polish by hand with a clean cloth (included).

To take best care of your necklace, do not wear in the shower or while swimming. While water will not damage it, repeated exposure to the elements may cause your necklace to tarnish quicker.
