Whether your après-ski plans are planned to take place in Aspen, Colorado, or Antioch, Tennessee (it gets cold here, too), a pair of goat hair boots is requisite gear for any aspiring ski bunny. Why goat hair? It’s water repellent (as opposed to water resistant: we don’t recommend taking them through slushy puddles) as well as windproof. Plus, caring for them is a snap: just rinse light stains with water; more intense cleanings can be done using a mild liquid detergent. The pair of goat hair boots we’re offering are a light blond color and have a sheepskin lining with moderate wear. They are marked 37-38 on the sole, the equivalent of an 8 in U.S. sizes. The soles are made of thick black rubber. The maker is Diadora, the famed Italian sportswear company; the tag on the side of the boots reads Diadora Dopopista.
