Founded in 1924 by Harry Grosberg, Belstaff began making waterproof garments for men and women from fine Egyptian cotton and natural oils. Beginning in the 1930s, Belstaff became popular with motorcylists and aviators because its wares met the demands of their dangerous careers and hobbies. Expanding their operations to include other items such as goggles and gloves, Belstaff soon won the hearts of daredevils and outdoor enthusiasts across the world. Worn and loved by some of the biggest bad-asses and icons of men's fashion, Belstaff jackets are as sought after today as they were then.
